French official exams

For French as a foreign language, there are various types of exams that will allow you to obtain an official proficiency certificate.

Choose the type of exam based on your goal: personal, professional, or academic.

The main French exams are :

1- DELF exam (level A1 to B2) and DALF exam (level C1-C2) : they assess 4 skills in a given level. Valid for life.

2- TCF test (all levels) : asseses your level in the 4 skills. Valid only for 2 years. Souvent utilisé pour les titres de séjour et les demandes de naturalisation.

At French Break, we offer preparation for the DELF-DALF exam led by our team of experienced teachers, some of whom are even certified to serve as official exam graders. You can therefore place your full trust in them.

We can also help you prepare for the TCF oral OR written exam.

There is a fee for the preparatory course, as well as for official exam registration.

Preparatory course : DELF/DALF

28 lessons of 45 minutes per week

General morning course from 09:00 to 12:15 with a 30 min break

Specific Course 4 x afternoons from 13:30 to 15:00

Throughout the week, we offer comprehensive, personalized preparation to give you the best possible chance of passing your exam. The classes focus on study methods and intensive practice.

In the morning, you will follow a standard curriculum designed to develop all the skills you need to improve your French, which will help ensure that your exam goes smoothly.

In the afternoon, you’ll develop a key skill: getting into the right mindset. We’ll explore and build on every aspect of your French to ensure you’re fully prepared!

Official test center

Unfortunately, French Break is not yet an authorized test center. We’re working on it, but in the meantime, you can take your exams at the test centers listed below. Just register with us, and we’ll take care of everything!

We would also be delighted to assist you in arranging your transportation, if needed, so that we can support you every step of the way in the process of certifying your French proficiency, whether for personal reasons or for academic or professional purposes.
